Name: Jack Frost
Voice: Chris Pine
Eyes: the blue of a frozen lake scarred by the skates of children
Hair: frosted white
Appearance: Jack's cold to the touch. Too much skin contact for too long, and he'll bring your body temp way down without even meaning to. If exposure is too long, it's dangerous, but otherwise, you'll be fine. He's still worried about it, though. When he gets excited, some color comes back to his face. It's like an amazing moment can jumpstart his heart again, if just for a moment . . . When he blushes, he blushes purple, like the blood pooling on the bottom of a corpse. Because, well...
Spiritual/Supernatural pings: Jack is dead. He died by drowning in a frozen lake, and the Moon brought him back as Jack Frost. He's the new spirit of winter, the successor of Old Man Winter. But that's just my headcanon.
Jack is the Guardian of Fun, one of the Guardians of Childhood. It's kind of his job to keep kids safe and protect and nurture fun inside the hearts of children. As long as kids believe in him, he's very powerful. If they stop believing, he'll fade away.
And obviously, Jack has ice powers. He brings the snow and ice, but he doesn't control the climate. That's Mother Nature's ballgame.
I haven't read Jack's book yet--I don't even know if it's out. But the minute it is, you'll know. Oh.......you'll know.
